MeBattery presence and poster award at 11th SECM Workshop

The 11th Workshop for Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) and related techniques was held at the McGill faculty club (Montreal, Canada) from the September 25-27, 2023 with around 100 participants from around the world.

During the workshop, the scientific community discussed challenges and shared new, unpublished and published works. The scientific areas ranged from instrument and method design in electrochemical microscopy via bioelectrochemistry to molecular and nanoscale electrochemistry.

MeBattery was represented at the 11th SECM Workshop with an oral contribution from Wolfgang Schuhmann and a poster from Carla Santana Santos, both from MeBattery partner Ruhr-Universität Bochum:

• Oral presentation: “SECM, SECCM and Single Nanoparticle Techniques as Tools for Elucidating Fundamentals of Electrocatalysis for Energy Conversion”
• Poster: “Disclosing the electronic properties of Solid Electrolyte Interface in beyond-Li batteries”
