MeBattery at the MRS Spring Meeting 2024

On 22 to 26 April 2024, the MeBattery team from University of Burgos participated in the MRS Spring Meeting 2024 held in Seattle, Washington USA.

On the one hand, Lara Lubian presented the progress with the analytical techniques developed in the framework of the MeBattery project in her contribution entitled “Operando Raman Spectroscopy for Aqueous Organic Redox Flow Batteries”. The presentation was part of the symposium ES02: Operando Characterization of Energy Storage Materials on 25 April 2024 receiving much interest and feedback from the redox flow battery community.

On the other hand, MeBattery coordinator Edgar Ventosa co-organised the symposium ES05-Materials Challenges for Flow-based Energy Conversion and Storage held on 24 April 2024. This symposium provided a forum to discuss the advanced materials and challenges for flow-based energy conversion and storage technologies, as well as their applications and economic effectiveness as both stationary and transportation energy systems.

The event is the key forum to present research to an interdisciplinary and international audience, and it was a success having about 2.800 oral talks distributed in 60 symposia!
