MeBattery participating in EIC’s Tech to Market Programme
After submission of an expression of interest, MeBattery was selected to participate in the European Innovation Council’s Tech to Market Programme (EIC T2M), whose goal it is to support innovators from projects funded under the EIC Pathfinder and Transition programmes with their transition from lab to market.
MeBattery started this journey in May 2024 by taking part in several sessions of the EIC T2M Venture Building Programme aimed at exploring promising exploitable research results through venture building services. These services comprise a range of activities from identification of promising business ideas to venture creation and development.
So far, MeBattery participated in the initial stage of the Programme, consisting of an exploration workshop on 16 May 2024 where the project was pitched to the Venture Building team. They provided support for the project’s subsequent participation in the Tech Demo Day on Energy Storage which took place on 29 May 2024. During this event, the project was pitched to key market players in the field of Energy Storage who provided feedback on the technology potential. Key aspects such as energy efficiency, sustainability, safety, maintenance, durability or costs were discussed. Based on the panel of experts’ assessment of the current maturity level of MeBattery’s technology, the project will be informed about the next steps within the EIC T2M Programme in a few weeks. These next steps would include tailored support during our journey towards the market.
